FG to Adopt National, Labour Migration Policy
The Federal Government will be presented two draft national policies; the National Migration Policy and the Labour Migration Policy, targeted at addressing the multi-facet challenges of migration in Nigeria and protecting Nigerian workers and their welfare, for consideration and adoption.
The policies, which were drafted by the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) and Ministry of Labour and Productivity with the technical support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and other relevant partners, will however first undergo validation before it would be adopted.
